We had a wonderful Easter weekend this year. The first half was spent without Owen while Scott and i went to the cottage for a visit. It was crisp and sunny up north and we just loved it. We even went tobogganing and ended up both getting injured slightly. Serves us right - we're too old and too out of practice to be doing that sort of thing! Owen stayed overnight at his grandma's house and spent the time throwing balls and apples around the house. He apparently slept perfectly and never whined or cried at all! We might just have to do overnight trips more often! Here's a shot of the lake at the cottage. That's Bailey in the distance having the time of her life!
On Sunday we went to church in the morning. Scott had to babysit at church and it was very full of visiting babies so he was tired when we got home. We had a small dinner at our house for a change since many people are away down south still. Owen entertained us throughout dinner and way past his bed time. He is turning into such a ham and he certainly knows it. He knows when all eyes are on him and it's time to put on a show. Needless to say, he was a tired little boy when he finally went to bed.
